The Koi in the pond are brilliant. Today they are enjoying a flow of fresh water as I adjusted the waterfall today.

They are almost over their winter hibrenation,they start feeding again when the water hits 50 degress. They say to start them on wheatgerm or honey nut cheerios soaked in orange juice.

I wish someone was as careful about what I have for breakafast!

The Siskiyou Watergarden and Koi club had it’s first anniversary meeting yestareday.I

decorated and bottle of champagne with a koi picture swirly pearls for bubbles and jewel eyes.

On top of the gold foil was a black fish standing proudly over his domain.

When the club started their were only 5 members I was one, I’m enchanted with these fish I find these koi enchanting .They live in a pond or the fish tank whereever I live.

the shiney water, the sun makes them glow in hyacynth, crystal onyx and pearl.
